I was born and raised in Vermont, where I learned early on how important it is to give back to your community. My grandfather helped start our town’s local rescue service as a volunteer, and his example inspired a lifelong interest in public service.
In middle school, I had the chance to serve as a page in the Vermont Statehouse. That experience made me even more excited to learn how government works and how everyday people can make a difference. I later earned a degree in Political Science from the University of Vermont.
I’ve always loved clean, beautiful places. That love took me all the way to Alaska, where I lived for several years and explored as much of the wild state as I could. In 2019, I moved to Colorado with my wife and we found a wonderful home here in Highlands Ranch.
For the past 12 years, I’ve worked as an HR Director at a national engineering company that helps make industrial systems safer and more efficient. I’ve had the chance to work with smart, hardworking people across many industries, and I bring that same energy and experience to the community I care about.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me out running, reading a good book (or hunting for rare ones), or chasing after my energetic 3.5 year old daughter - who definitely keeps me on my toes!

As a parent in this community, I care deeply about our future—and I believe clean, safe water is a big part of that.
In 2023, I joined the Highlands Ranch Water Citizens’ Engagement Committee. Through this great program, I learned how our local water system works. I was impressed by the high standards the team holds itself to. It made me proud to live here.
The next few years are important. With deregulation efforts and less support and funding coming from the federal government, local groups like ours will have to take on more responsibility for keeping our water safe and secure.
Thanks to the strong leadership at Highlands Ranch Water, I believe we’re ready to meet that challenge. As both a parent and an HR leader in the engineering field, I hope to bring a helpful voice to support HRW’s mission: delivering safe, reliable, and affordable water services to our community.
